Discovering what love is one day at a time
I have never been to Niagara Falls, but some day, I would like to go. Imagine what it would be like to be on a boat ½ a mile or more away from where the water hits, and to feel the spray or mist from that water. It makes me think of How God’s love touches us, whether we are following Him or not. He is that wonderful. Can you imagine the power of the water as it crashes down? Surely His goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives. All the days…He never gives up...never. How many times have you been in a situation where you felt there was no way out? That it just was not ever going to get better…. That nobody cares...That no one understands? That is simply not the truth. He is never giving up on us…no matter the situation how dire, or how silly it may seem to you, if you are comparing it to someone else who “has it worse.” He died so that we might live. He died so that we could have life and live it more abundantly. His love is so amazing; it is hard for our finite minds to grasp. However the benefit we reap, by renewing our minds through the washing of the water of the Word. Wow! How can I even begin to explain what it feels like to know that someone loves me and knows me so intimately and yet He, and loves me anyway….?

AuthorI have been married to my wonderful husband for 29 years. We have two young men ages 25 and 20.. This blog is somewhat of a journal and attempt for me to remind myself of my purpose and invite others to join me in keeping an eternal perspective as we move through each day. Archives
